HAVING THE COWBOY'S BABY
Already upset by her father's hospitalization, teacher Anne-Marie Duveuil is unprepared to deal with a man like rancher Cordero Sanchez -- but there he is, right on her doorstep! Cordero's in town to deliver horses her father purchased, and the older man seems determined to throw them together. The matchmaking works, but Cordero isn't interested in marriage -- and Anne-Marie is still determined to return to her missionary work. Things change, however, when their brief affair has consequences. Stella Bagwell's Having the Cowboy's Baby (2) has an unusual, interesting heroine, but the plot and conflict have been done to death -- and very often better.
