Pediatrician GloryAnn Cranbrook's benefactor has assigned her to help out at
a mission in Hawaii. Severely burned children from hundreds of miles around are flown in for renowned surgeon Jared Steele's treatments. But working alongside him proves an uphill battle -- he's still grieving the murders of his wife and son three years ago and has an ice-cold veneer. But Glory is like a sunburst. Her energy touches everyone, including the readers. Lois Richer's sensitive Healing Tides (4.5) is a wonderful story.
