Mr. Moneybags, aka Joshua Corbett, appears every bit the irresistible Joe Millionaire, but to Gina Angelini—whom he rejected on national television two years ago for another contestant—he's simply a guy with a lot of nerve who's arrived at her store looking for a consolation prize. Josh knows he made a mistake, but since Gina doesn't realize he had good reasons at the time, she isn't inclined to give him another chance. Josh, however, is determined to get his way. A fun and topical jaunt, Heard It Through the Grapevine (4) is a fictional journey into the aftermath of a reality TV show, and Pamela Browning does a fine job of writing strong, credible leads who share real chemistry.
