HEART CHANGE
by Robin D. Owens

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Owens returns to the familiar, engrossing world of Celta for the eighth chapter in her long-running Heart series. One of this novel's main joys is the growing love between two individuals as they battle to save the life of a child. Exploring the themes of family, the author provides plenty of warmth, passion and danger. It's always a joy to visit an Owens world.

GrandLady Signet D'Marigold is the last of her family. While Signet has powerful flair, no one has been able to define her particular talent, until 13-year-old prophet and GreatLord Vinni reveals she's a catalyst.

Vinni is desperate for Signet's help. His 7-year-old heartmate Avellana's brain has been damaged, and everyone fears she won't survive her flair's first passage without Signet's special help. Cratag Maytree, head of security for GreatLord T'Hawthorn, has been somewhat reluctantly drafted to protect Signet and Avellana during this critical time. (BERKLEY SENSATION, Nov., 368 pp., $15.00)
