A HEART MOST WORTHY
Another great historical novel by a wonderful author whose characters are always a treat to get to know. They are never flat or boring. The WWI background provides color and depth.
Boston, 1918: Julietta, Annamaria and Luciana work at Madame Forza’s gown shop. Julietta has her heart set on Angelo, who has recently arrived from Rome. Annamaria has lost her heart to Rafaello, though her parents disapprove. Luciana has mixed emotions about Mauro, a doctor and her brother’s best friend. Luciana also has caught the eye of Billy, the son of Mrs. Quinn, Madame Forza’s most annoying client. But with the events of war, their worlds are about to be split apart.
