Book Review

HEART OF THE PHOENIX
by A.C. Arthur

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Multicultural
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

This is a great, seamless mix of romance and Greek mythology. Arthur reveals just enough about the complicated relationships of Greek mythological characters to make them real without overwhelming the story. Tayla is a wonderful character, and it's a pleasure to root for her. Thaddeus is a gorgeous, honorable man, and the secondary characters add just the right touch of humor and compassion.

Two years ago Tayla Hampton ran from an abusive marriage. Today she is the principal of a boarding school far from that man and her former life. But he hasn't forgotten her, and now that he's found her, he plans on reclaiming what's his.

Thaddeus Delos is the son of a
god sent to protect Tayla. Neither expects to fall in love with the other, but when fate and the gods step in,
all things are possible.
