HEART OF STONE
Landis writes from her heart and is able to speak to her readers through her characters. In this start to her new Irish Angels series, the characters are believably flawed and relatable.
When someone from boardinghouse owner Laura Foster's past comes to Glory, Texas, she worries that she'll lose everything. Rev. Brand McCormick wants to court Laura, but he has a past of his own that could estrange him from his congregation. Brand and Laura will have to look deep down inside themselves, and also to the heavens, to find the answers they're seeking if they're to have any sort of future together.
