Copeland and Smith weave together a great Wild West adventure in the first Amish of Apple Grove tale. This winning combination of Kansas, cattle drives, Amish cooking and romance will truly engage and inspire fans of Amish fiction.

The Switzers are robbed and left to fend for themselves after rustlers spare their lives. Emma Switzer’s father, a dedicated Amish family man, prays for answers and the kindness and faithfulness of Luke is evident as he assists the family to safety. Luke may be a stubborn trail boss, but God is able to deliver more than one answer to prayer. (HARVEST HOUSE, Mar., 320 pp., $13.99)
