THE HEART'S SONG
THE HEART’S SONG (4.5) by Winnie Griggs: After his wife’s death, Graham Lockwood takes a job in Tippanyville, La., leaving God and his life in St. Louis behind. His new neighbor Reeny Landry wants to form a hand bell choir as a memorial to her husband, who died three years ago. When she loses her choir director, she asks Graham to fill in. He turns the tables on her and has her being the director, with him as her assistant and they soon discover it’s not only the choir members God will use the bells to emotionally heal. Griggs pens a terrific and lovely story of two people affected by grief and loss, but with God always there, waiting to help.
