HEARTS OF STEEL

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural

HEARTS OF STEEL is the first in the three-book family reunion collection. Shiri Rowlan is catching a plane home for her grandparents' anniversary celebration and to assume her duties as organizer for the family reunion. She meets football star Jack Deneen as he helps carry her grandparents' gift—two life-sized teddy bears.

Jack falls hard for her but Shiri convinces herself that there is nothing about him to like. What's more, she absolutely hates football! But when her mother, aunts and grandmother decide to get involved, Shiri and Jack find themselves thrown together at every turn.

Unorthodox Aunt Rosie was this reader's favorite character. Her wisdom, sense of adventure and love for life was inspiring. I can't wait to visit this family again! (Jul., 320 pp., $6.99)
