HEAT OF THE MOMENT
by Lori Herter

Genre: Series, Harlequin Blaze, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

In HEAT OF THE MOMENT (1), seismologist Josie Gray makes an apology to competitor Peter Brennan for her part in something unethical. She's surprised to find him in a wheelchair, a victim of sabotage to an overpass at his company. He hires her on impulse—and she wonders just how far Peter's paralysis goes when he entices her into a physical relationship. Lori Herter's characters are shallow and some pivotal conflicts could be resolved with truthful conversations. Josie carries too much emotional baggage, and Peter is manipulative. Blaze fans might not find the emotional depth and sensuality for which the line is known.
