McCoy brings back professional dog walker Ellie Engleman and her reincarnated pooch with a witty and fast-paced mystery set in New York's fashionable East Side. McCoy has a simmering plan of vengeance, peppered with humor, that readers will love.

Ellie is out with her terrier mix Rudy when she finds the corpse of a troubled homeless man she'd befriended. It turns out Rudy is the sole beneficiary of the victim's inheritance, so Ellie becomes the prime suspect of an inept cop and realizes she'll have to solve this mystery -- with the help of Rudy and former detective lover Sam Ryder -- to stay out of the slammer.
