HEIR OF FIRE
by Sarah J. Maas

Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy

RT Rating

With a finely tuned plot, colorful characters and twists galore, Maas shines as a brilliant storyteller. You’ll be swept away by the characters’ new challenges and triumphs, while Manon Blackbeak’s introduction adds exciting and sharp depth. Despite some slow moments, this is the most exhilarating installment yet.

Celaena’s quest to find answers in Wendlyn proves to be more dangerous and challenging than she imagined. As she trains and learns to accept her true identity and destiny, Chaol and Dorian turn to unlikely sources to protect Celaena, their people and themselves. But with danger lurking in unexpected places, who will come out victorious? (BLOOMSBURY, Sep., 576 pp., $17.99, ISBN: 9781619630659, HC, 14 & Up)
