Teresa Southwick fabulously concludes the If Wishes Were… series with AN HEIRESS ON HIS DOORSTEP (4.5). Spunky Jordan is fed up with men, particularly her father. This time, he's concocted a crazy plot to have her kidnapped and "rescued" by her "hero." When J.P. finds a disheveled and disoriented Jordan practically on his doorstep, he has no clue he's finally met his match. Their witty sparring gives the plot a breezy, fun momentum. Southwick, a true wordsmith, cuts to the core. She has the ability to make every word count, even as her story achieves magical harmony.
