Genre: Historical Romance
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1816 London

RT Rating

Once more, Petersen delivers a sensual romance, this time about two outcasts who rescue each other. The characters are engaging, and the dialogue and the setting have an authentic ring.

Nicholas Stoneworth gave
up his place in society and joined the Underground as a boxer, but when
his twin dies, Nick is suddenly thrown back into the ton.

Jane Fenton has come down in the world. Once a lady, now she is just
a companion. She needs Nick's help to find her long-lost brother. But Nick is no hero and refuses to help until she offers to assist him in return. Jane will turn him into a gentleman, if he will find her brother. Sparks fly as the two strike a bargain. But who is the master and who is the student? Or better yet, who will corrupt whom?
