Book Review

by Wanda E. Brunstetter

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

The second book in Brunstetter's Brides of Webster County series, about the Amish, contains heartwarming characters dealing with loss and learning to love again. Though a little predictable, it is an enjoyable tale.

Barbara Zook has her hands full coping with the recent death of
her husband, David, and raising four young boys. Despite pressure to sell, she's trying to run the harness shop
that she views as her last connection
to David.

Paul Hilty is in town for his brother's funeral. He plans to return to his cousin's harness shop in Pennsylvania as soon as possible. Widower Bishop Frey is looking for a mother for his four girls. When he expresses an interest in marrying Barbara, Paul finds himself unexpectedly jealous. Bishop Frey feels a duty to protect Barbara. Will Paul let down his guard where Barbara is concerned, or will he return to the familiarity of Pennsylvania? (BARBOUR, Dec.,
