Daisy has decided she needs to find a husband. Ranking highest on her list of desirable qualities is dependability. Egbert is the town banker, a study in boring, but he's dependable to a fault, so Daisy sets her sights on him. Kell's only interest in Daisy is her connection to his late uncle, for whom she was a nurse. Still, it's a charming story filled with matchmak- ing and a healthy dose of humor.
