HER SECRET COWBOY
HER SECRET COWBOY (3) by Marin Thomas: Thirteen years have passed when Marsha Bugler tells Will Cash that her son Ryan is his. Will had told Marsha he didn’t want to be a father, expecting her to get an abortion. Now he is having difficulty connecting with his son. Will is dyslexic and just got by in school. Ryan reads constantly and has little interest in outdoor pursuits. As Will struggles to blame everyone but himself for not knowing his son, Marsha and Ryan struggle with the need to accept him in their lives. It’s good the hero realizes the miracle he has in the son whose life he was willing to forfeit, but it’s difficult to sympathize with him when he blames the heroine for his problems.
