Jacqueline Parkton is a beautiful, classy and successful magazine editor. At night, to cover her father's medical bills, she waits tables at a gentlemen's club as Jackie Parks. Her attraction to club member Warren Holcomb leads to trouble as she struggles to keep her two identities separate. Warren and Jacqueline are infinitely elegant, and this book may remind readers of an exceptionally well-written Victorian novel. Except for for occasionally stilted prose, Her Secret Life (4), by Gwynne Forster, is a fantastic read. The characters are beautifully created and easy to understand and commiserate with.
