Six months ago, teacher Kathie Cassidy kissed her sister's fiance, bank president Joe Reed, then fled town. Now Kathie's sister is engaged to someone else, and the family wants her back, so they send Joe to get her. Kathie agrees to return, but only if they pretend-date for a while to take the heat off Joe. It doesn't work, and being together's still a disaster! Teresa Hill's Her Sister's Fiance (2) has several amusing scenes, and Joe's precious, but most of the comedy seems forced. That's probably because it's hard to imagine even a small town getting so stirred up over a couple of kisses.
