Escaping from her father and beginning a search for her long-lost mother takes Rachel Goodson to Spain. A shortage of funds means finding employment, and Rachel manages to get work typing a manuscript for Luis Alvarez. A widower, Luis is very attractive and desperate to convince his matchmaking sister that he's moved on. So he proposes a pretend relationship, which Rachel agrees to. But when Her Spanish Boss (3) wants more, Rachel hesitates because she thinks he's unable to trust or love her. Barbara McMahon's latest has an appealing fantasy aspect, and Rachel shares strong chemistry with Luis, but it's pretty standard stuff.
