HER SURE THING
HER SURE THING (4.5) by Helen Brenna: When Dr. Sean Griffin meets former model Grace Kahill, he’s torn between his attraction to and professional concern for her, wanting to make sure Grace is fully healed from the car accident/fire that ended her career. At first, Grace doesn’t want anyone to see her scars, but eventually she realizes that they’re part of who she is now, and Sean wants all of her. The only problem is Sean wants forever and Grace doesn’t know if she’s ready for that commitment. Brenna’s plot flows seamlessly from start to finish. Her characters have depth, and the writing is both lively and interesting, especially with the subplot involving Sean learning he has a teenage son.
