Cheated of a promotion by a co-worker and fired when she takes exception to it, Juliet Howard retreats to her hometown to reassess her life. Quite by chance, her path crosses that of developer Gregor McLeod, her girlhood crush. Under the mistaken impression that he's a handyman, Juliet engages in a flirtation with Gregor, never expecting it to become anything more. Unexpectedly, Gregor has other ideas—and the means to implement them! Lighthearted, fast-paced and amusing, Liz Fielding's Her Wish-List Bridegroom (4) also carries substantial emotional weight. Juliet and Gregor are delightful, as are their witty exchanges.
