The final book of the Four Lindas series brings a satisfying conclusion to the stories of the women. It’s refreshing to read about the trials and tribulations of women in their 50s — many readers will identify closely with the characters.

As the four Lindas move closer to taking the cruise Abby won, each continues with struggles and celebrations. Abby’s B&B is opening and her husband continues to give her grief about it. Janie’s world is turned on its end when her drug-addicted daughter returns home. Marley and Jack find themselves caring for his granddaughter when Jack’s daughter runs off. And Caroline’s home remodel is under way, as is her relationship with Mitch. Through thick and thin, these women are there for each other. (DAVID C. COOK, Sep., 320 pp., $14.99)
