HIDDEN HEAT

The latest book in the Hauberk Protection series is almost too hot to touch. Sandy’s desire to explore the wilder things in life is bold and empowering, yet she still manages to remain levelheaded. Also, it’s refreshing to see a hero portrayed as the one seeking a relationship, though Troy never pushes Sandy for more than she’s ready for. While the suspense will keep readers turning the pages, the author glosses over the climax. Luckily, the intense chemistry between the hero and heroine more than make up for it.

Sandy Hallquist is ready to shed her good-girl image and knows just the man she wants to reveal her naughty side to: her coworker, Hauberk security agent Troy McPherson. Despite his gruff exterior, Sandy knows Troy is the perfect man to show her a good time. However, what starts as a no-strings-attached relationship soon becomes a tangled heap of passion and emotion, as Troy reveals that he wants more than just a quick fling. The question is, does Sandy?
