HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW
HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW (4) by Diane Burke: Sarah Lapp is suffering from amnesia after being injured by a gunman at the local Amish school. The gunman believes she has his stolen diamonds and plans to get them back — no matter the cost. Former Amishman Detective Samuel King is investigating. He left the community because he found it hard to offer forgiveness, as is the Amish way, to those responsible for his parents’ death. Now, Samuel must keep Sarah safe while discovering the gunman’s identity. Sarah is a strong character, even in the face of unknown adversity. Burke’s story about the power of love and finding one’s identity reminds readers that judgment and vengeance belong to God.
