Anyone who says that romantic suspense is no longer a hot commodity hasn’t read Jami Alden. She’s quickly making a name for herself as one of the top writers in the genre. Her latest novel continues her streak of excellent, gripping stories and brings captivating recurring characters along for the ride.

Krista Slater accidentally put a man on death row for a crime he didn’t commit, and freed him with the help of his sister. But Krista is convinced there’s more to the story. When she gets too close to home another potential witness is brutally murdered. The only person she can turn to for help is the same man she put in prison, Sean Flynn.
