HIGHLAND HEARTS was written 10 years ago under the pseudonym Sandra Dustin, yet it is a tale worth reading again. While investigating a plot against King James of Scotland, Sir Revan Halyard is captured, but then released by the lovely young Tess. Revan takes Tess captive to protect her from her uncle, who will do anything to secure her fortune and is deeply involved in a treasonous plot.

The duo decides to go to the King with the information they've discovered. While they stealthily make their way to the palace by hiding in caves, Revan comes to respect Tess for her courage and her tart tongue. The attraction between them is too strong to be denied. Their feelings for each other grow during their journey, but with so much danger facing them, can their love triumph?

Tess is a wonderful heroine, filled with strength, a sense of adventure and a witty sense of humor. This well-written, fast-paced romance is a delight and one to keep on your shelves for years to come. SENSUAL (Reissue, Feb., 400 pp., $5.99)
