While searching for her twin, Keira, Alana Murray is kidnapped, tossed into a hole and held for ransom.

Luckily, she lands on Gregor MacFingal Cameron. Together they escape and Alana convinces Gregor to help with her search as they journey to his home. They stop at a monastery, where Brother Matthew, a Murray cousin, informs them of Keira's fate. When they finally make it to Gregor's home, Alana is surprised to learn that he's betrothed. But Gregor is in love with Alana and hopes she can forgive him.

Howell's latest takes place at the same time as Keira's story in Highland Champion. Once again she tells a wonderful love story filled with adventure, laughter and some tears. No one else tells a Scottish tale the same way. SENSUAL (Jun., 352 pp., $6.99)
