Fae and mortal worlds collide in Mayhue's fifth Daughters of the Glen book. It's a wondrous tale as the lovers travel through time to battle evil. The characters are well written, the action is nonstop and there's plenty of sizzling passion.

Destiny Noble is desperate to find her sister. The police call her a runaway, but Destiny knows better. Her visions give her clues as to how to find her, and they lead her to Jesse Coryell. Jesse has spent the last four months training with the elite guard in the Realm of the Faerie. Now back in the present day, he must guard the mortal world from rogue faeries. He knows that Destiny is hiding something, and he doesn't have time to hold her hand when rogue faeries try to kill them.

Destiny doesn't know what to believe -- blonde psycho killers have taken her sister, and some deranged bimbo wants her blood, literally. Not until she accepts the magic within herself can Destiny help Jesse battle the evil surrounding them and rescue her sister. (POCKET, Jan., 384 pp., $7.99)
