THE HIGHLANDER'S FORBIDDEN BRIDE
by Donna Fletcher

Genre: Historical Romance, Scotland
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1500s Scotland

RT Rating

Fletcher's final entry in the Sinclare Brothers series is one of emotion, passion and intrigue. The plot twists but is often predictable and repetitive. Although it is the fourth in the series, this entertaining read can also stand alone.

Ronan Sinclare is ready to return home to his Highland family, but only after he avenges the death of his beloved, Hope, who died at the hands of Carissa, daughter of Mordrac.

With the death of her barbarian father, Carissa has been running and hiding from those who would see her killed. She takes refuge in the village of Black, a sanctuary for all those who seek it. Ronan finds her there, but exacting the revenge he planned isn't so simple. (AVON, Jan., 333 pp., $6.99)
