Despite the evidence, special agent Steve Woods doesn’t believe the woman he once loved is capable of violence. Soon Steve’s on the lam with Jane, searching for her son. But as the evidence unfolds, he wonders if Jane is delusional. Morgan gets her characters up in a tree and throws even larger rocks at them until the branch breaks. A first-rate read.
