Desperate to escape her marriage- minded family, Princess Samantha Popov becomes Sam Piper and takes a job as butler to super-rich businessman Dylan Harmon. Upgraded to personal assistant, Sam still finds Dylan difficult to work for—and too attractive for her peace of mind. Soon, Sam's aware that she's been Hired by Mr. Right (2), but her subterfuge has doomed any possible future. Nicola Marsh employs the past-its-prime "girl with a boy's name" gambit at the start, and that's not the only plot problem here. The banter between Sam and Dylan is entertaining, however, and some readers will undoubtedly find him charming.
