In Jillian Hart's His Holiday Heart (4.5), Spence McKaslin and Lucy Chapin make for a very warm and lovely couple.
Throughout the McKaslin series, Spence has been painted as a man hiding deep pain while proving to be devoted to his family. All of his sisters have found love and marriage, and they want the same joy for him. Spence's pain cuts deep, however, and he has always been determined that love is not for him. But as he and Lucy work together on a children's Christmas program, Spence finds himself thinking twice about his solitary lifestyle. There's unlikely to be a single reader of this series not rooting for Spence. He deserves the world, and in this amazing story, he finds it in Lucy.
