HIS IDEAL MATCH
HIS IDEAL MATCH (3) by Arlene James: Still mourning the loss of his friends, Phillip Chatam believes God is too busy for his issues, but he begrudgingly agrees to attend a grief support meeting at the request of his aunts. There he meets Carissa Hopper, a mother of three whose husband was killed four years ago. Though he is interested in her, Phillip has no interest in settling down, especially with kids who are more challenging than mountain climbing. Per her father’s dying request, Phillip promises to watch over Carissa. Is it only out of obligation, or is he truly ready to take the biggest climb of his life? This continuation of the Chatam House series is a bit slow to engage, but the characters are likable, particularly the Chatam triplets.
