HIS MAJESTY'S CHILD
HIS MAJESTY’S CHILD (3) by Sharon Kendrick: Melissa Maguire is determined to tell King Casimiro of Zaffirinthos that she is the mother of his child. Unfortunately, because of an accident that wiped out Casimiro’s short-term memory, he doesn’t recall their time together. But a DNA test proves that Ben is, in fact, his son — so of course he must wed Melissa immediately. This is a classic pauper-to-princess tale, and Melissa is as plucky a heroine as one could wish. Although there’s nothing new here, readers can expect an easy, well-written tale.
