HIS MOUNTAIN MISS
HIS MOUNTAIN MISS (4.5) by Karen Kirst: When Lucian Beaumont arrives in Gatlinburg, Tenn., in 1881, he plans on staying just long enough to sell his late grandfather’s home and return to New Orleans. However, his plans change when he discovers a stipulation in his grandfather’s will that will give the house to Megan O’Malley if he doesn’t comply. As he gets to know Megan, he becomes less and less eager to leave. Third in Kirst’s Smokey Mountain Matches series, this is a tender, emotional story of lost opportunities and forgiveness. With complex characters and a vivid setting, it is a wonderful tale.
