Kate Crawford has come back to Summer Harbor, her small Northwest Pacific hometown, having left her high-paying job to work at the smaller Redstone Company. A series of thefts of highly valuable high-tech insulin pumps from her division is worrying her. Then the too-handsome, too-young Rand Singleton rents a room in her grandparents' house, and Kate thinks he might be a con man. Rand, undercover with Redstone security, is investigating the thefts. Is it possible that Kate is behind them? In His Sights (4) is a sympathetic love story with two mature adult characters. It's to Justine Davis' credit that she avoids the irrational behavior and misunderstandings sometimes seen in romances without hampering the strong sexual attraction between her couple.
