At the grocery store, Sawyer Abbott is approached by two children claiming to be kidnapped, and immediately the daredevil swings into action. But the "perpetrator" is ER nurse Sophie Foster—their mom—and this is her kids' newest MO to find her a boyfriend. Sawyer's already busy searching for his long-lost sister and heading his family's charitable foundation. Romancing Sophie, a formerly abused mother of three, isn't in the plan—yet he finds himself breaking down barriers between them. Muriel Jensen does an outstanding job of balancing a serious subject matter with much-needed humor. His Wife (4.5) continues the Abbott family saga, charming readers with a cast of irresistible characters.
