To halt a series of horrific blind dates organized by her father, Mindy Ryder
lies and tells him she's involved with a doctor. When her dad visits her
for a weekend, she explains her predicament to the only doctor remotely in her
life, her Corgi's vet, Eric Kincaid. Luckily, he's the victim of a matchmaking
mom himself, so Eric agrees to play along. But then Mindy's dad sprains his
ankle and decides to stay at her house until it heals. Jennifer Drew's most
recent, HITCHED FOR THE HOLIDAYS (2), is light and sexy, but short on plot. It's
got a few very funny scenes, though, and will no doubt please her fans.
