When Leah's younger sister gets pregnant and doesn't need the child Leah has agreed to carry for her, Leah decides to keep the baby and raise it with the help of its father, Mark. Both Leah and Mark have children from previous marriages and very different parenting styles. Leah has no interest in ever being married again -- and certainly not to dictatorial Mark. But despite their rocky start, the passion that flares between them is undeniable. Margot Early's Holding the Baby (4) is a terrific story about those who make do when others don't. Mark and Leah realize that each person must meet the other halfway.
