A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER
A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER (4.5) by Helen R. Myers: Wounded war vet Mack Graves and emotionally damaged cop Alana Anders meet by chance under a Texas blue moon. They have more in common than the family ranch left to Mack by his estranged father — they share a knowledge of a loss few would understand. Mack and Alana might share a future, too, if they are brave enough to weather the storm of healing and leave the past behind. Myers’ romance is memorable, her handling of complicated emotional issues is spot-on and her love scenes are powerfully poignant.
