THE HOLLOW
by Nora Roberts

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

When the heroes of Roberts' Sign of Seven trilogy were 10, they reawakened a deadly evil. The exciting story continues in this series second. As in many of Roberts' books, the protagonists' capability of bonding, loving and trusting forms the basis of their strength. Characterization rules as old fears and hidden insecurities must be overcome for our heroes and heroines to triumph. This is great stuff!

As the date of the seemingly inevitable seven nights of hell that strike the town of Hawkins Hallow every seven years grows closer, six individuals are frantically searching
for a way to permanently destroy the evil demon that was once named Lazarus Twisse.

Attorney Fox O'Dell is used to
his gift of seeing into the minds of
others, but Layla Darnell is not so
comfortable with hers. Fox must convince her to embrace her gift, if they are to uncover the clues to stopping this horror. It will take the all the talents and gifts of all six if they are to succeed. (JOVE, May, 336 pp., $7.99)
