This wonderful visit to Emerald Lake is full of delightful characters. The struggles the heroine faces are understandable and the secondary story threads are a joy to read about.

Returning home to Emerald Lake, N.Y., after a 10-year absence is not easy for Andi Powell. Though she has visited over the years, she never stayed long and so was able to avoid seeing Nate Duncan, the boy she loved and left who’s now the mayor. Now she needs to pitch a deal for some condos. The homes will be good for the town, but neither her grandmother nor Nate approve of the location. The need to tear down the old carousel that her grandmother insists is both important and magical has Andi rethinking her priorities. Even though Nate felt that Andi abandoned him when he needed her most, he still can’t deny the love he feels for her. Will the magic of the carousel work for Nate and Andi?
