HOME IS WHERE THE BARK IS
Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
A delightful romance full of tail-wagging characters and some fun two-legged ones as well. It connects well with Shepard’s previous story, letting the reader see how those characters’ lives are progressing, as well as introducing interesting new ones. There’s love, laughter and some suspense before all involved get their happily-ever-after.
When Nick Whalen brings his Yorkie-poo into her doggie day care, Serena Oakley finds it hard to accept that this dog is a match for him. She‘s right, because the dog is his great-aunt’s. Nick is a P.I., undercover to investigate a case of identity theft — and Serena is his prime suspect. Unfortunately for his investigation, he finds himself falling for her and things only get worse when he takes up the cause of an injured dog that was abandoned while in Serena’s care.
