Moving back to Northbridge is a big but necessary step for forensic artist Eden Perry. A police widow, she's considering giving up her job and settling down with someone not in law enforcement. But she's immediately drawn to cop Cameron Pratt, the man she'll be working a cold case with. Fortunately, Cam's unlikely to return her interest -- he hasn't forgotten Eden's ill-treatment of him in high school -- plus he's divorced from a woman who shares her views about police work and relationships. Victoria Pade's Hometown Cinderella (3) has a reasonably involving plot and conflict, but there's nothing truly exceptional about any aspect of it.
