HOMETOWN DAD (3) by Merrillee Whren: Widow Melanie Drake won’t let sadness stop her from being a good parent to her young sons. When she seeks help with her finances from banker Nathan Keller, she piques his interest in her and her boys. Soon their mutual attraction can’t be denied. However, Nathan’s diagnosis of Crohn’s disease years ago, which he still struggles with, makes him steer clear of personal relationships, and Melanie isn’t ready to date. This final story set in Kellerville is a nice romance, but the matchmaking is aggravating and it’s overpoweringly stated that the heroine is selflessly devoted to her sons and has difficulty saying no to anyone.
