This is a romance in which the heroine discovers that you can have more than one great love in a lifetime. This latest Chesapeake Diaries tale is filled with truly delightful characters and will leave you eager for a return visit to St. Dennis.

It’s been two and a half years since Brooke Madison Bower’s husband died in Iraq. Now she and her 8-year-old son, Logan, are back in St. Dennis, living with her mother and brother, while she gets her cupcake business up and running.
Jesse Enright has also returned, to help his grandfather in the family law firm, and prove to his family that he is nothing like his wastrel father. He thinks it might be time to settle down, and sets his sights on Brooke. But Brooke can’t imagine loving anyone other than her husband. So Jesse sets a plan in motion to get Brooke to pursue him.
