THE HOMETOWN HERO RETURNS (4) by Beth Kery: As teenagers, Marc Kavanaugh and Marianna Itani were brought together by their love for each other, and then separated by a shared tragedy. Their love is rekindled 15 years later when they spend a night together in a hotel room. However, Marianna doesn’t think it’s meant to be and leaves Marc the next day without a word. Five weeks later, they’re both back in their hometown, where their memories and past hurts are stored. Despite the past, they decide to give their relationship another try. Will their love for each other be enough to withstand all the past tragedy and hurt? Good storytelling, a solid plot and strong tension between the characters make this a story that will hook you and keep you interested until the very last page. Well worth the read.
