Since her teens, Heather Henderson could always count on Royce McKinnon
to rescue her from any predicament. Now, though Heather makes every
effort to show him that she's become
a responsible adult who's ready for
love, Royce can't seem to cut the apron strings. Marin Thomas has created a
spirited heroine in Heather, but the
hero of Homeward Bound (2) is stubborn, surly and difficult to like. Royce's volatile relationship with Heather evokes the dynamic between a demanding parent and a rebellious child, a distasteful resemblance that's hard to forget during the love scenes.
